OUR STORY
Born from the problem itself
Hoope Diagnostic was founded in 2022 by Gabriela Simões, an aesthetic biomedicine specialist and PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UVV (Vila Velha University). The question behind the company was direct: how can we deliver more accurate melasma diagnoses and give professionals the confidence that they’re on the right track?
That clinical concern gave rise to a healthtech with a clear mission: to democratize access to diagnostic technology for aesthetic health professionals across Brazil.

Hoope AI Scanner App analyzes images captured on mobile devices and gives professionals an objective, complete melasma assessment

Location, depth, and type of melasma: dermal, epidermal, or mixed, with quantitative and qualitative analysis

Automatic MASI calculation
The Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI) is calculated automatically, eliminating variation between evaluators

Store images, medical records, and treatment history to track the patient’s progress
